We collect personal data to process enrollment inquiries and communicate with prospective and current students.
Comments If visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form including name, email address, and website. We also collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.
Media If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms When you submit a contact or enrollment inquiry form on our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any message you provide. We retain this information for up to 12 months for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and for student enrollment follow-up. We do not use contact form submissions for third-party marketing purposes.
Cookies If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third parties. How long we retain your data
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. WordPress analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. If you register as a student or create an account on our site, your profile data is retained until you request deletion. Comments, if applicable, are retained indefinitely unless you request removal.
What rights you have over your data
If you have submitted a contact form, enrolled in our program, or otherwise provided personal data to Rx Tech School, you may request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You may also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not apply to data we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
